We are Alex Cawood's parents, and we created ACU to honor our son. In Alex Cawood's Universe cancer does not exist, so join us in the fight for their lives.
The goal of ACU is to fund research to find better treatment options and eventually a cure for Childhood Cancer, specifically Pediatric Ewing Sarcoma. ACU hope is to provide inspiration for all in need.
Working with CURE in Atlanta, ACU was established in mid-December 2020, 10 months after our son Alex was taken by cancer. In the spring of 2022 we awarded our first research grant to Seattle Children's Hospital.
